# Getting Started

Connect in a few steps and use the models in any application

### Sign up & log in

Register with your email and log in to the console.

### Create an API key

Create a key on the "API Keys" page to call the API.

### Copy connection info

Click "Copy Connection Info" in the key list to get the name, key and base URL.

### Call the API

Configure the key in your app or script and use it just like OpenAI.

The API is compatible with the OpenAI Chat Completions protocol, so most clients that allow a custom base URL work out of the box.
