# Use A2Agent Models with Claude Desktop (CC Switch Setup Guide)

> Claude Desktop has no custom-endpoint field, so use CC Switch to register A2Agent as a provider, then run DeepSeek, Kimi and GLM in the desktop app.

Claude Desktop has no field for a custom model endpoint, so this guide uses CC Switch to register A2Agent as a provider. Once it's added and routing is enabled, the desktop app can run DeepSeek, Kimi and GLM through your A2Agent key.

You'll configure three things in CC Switch - the provider name, your A2Agent API key, and the base URL [https://api.a2agent.me](https://api.a2agent.me) - then pick a model inside Claude Desktop.

## Prerequisites

* **Claude Desktop** installed — follow the [claude-code download](https://claude.com/product/claude-code)
* **CC Switch** is installed. [Download CC Switch](https://ccswitch.io/zh/download)
* An A2Agent API key — [sign up at a2agent.me/register](https://a2agent.me/register) to get one

## Setup

    Open CC Switch, switch to the **Claude Desktop**  tab at the top, and click the orange **「+」** in the top-right corner.On the **Add New Provider** page, keep **Claude** as the provider and click **Custom Configuration** in the top-left corner.

  <Step title="Fill in the Provider Information">
    * Provider Name：Custom, e.g. `A2Agent-Claude.`
    * API Key：Your A2Agent API key.

  <Step title="Model Configuration">
    Choose **Model Mapping** as the connection method. After fetching the model list, select the model you want to map

  <Step title="Enable Routing">
    * Click **Settings** in the top-left corner → **Routing** → **Local Routing**.
    * Turn on **Show the local routing switch on the main page**.
    * Turn on the **Routing master switch**.

  <Step title="Enable the Provider Channel">
    * Return to the provider list and click Enable on the A2Agent-Claude card.
    * When the button shows In Use, the provider has been enabled.

After finishing the configuration, restart **CC Switch** and **Claude Desktop**, and you can start using A2Agent models.
